Wait are you gonna watch Rebuild or NGE?

I was going to start with NGE because the only bits of this series I’ve seen are the last 3 episodes of weird trippy Shinji shit. I don’t know. This series has always had a bad connotation in my head. Hopefully it’s better than it seems.

Heads up: this imagery is from Rebuild and features a rebuild-only character

however, the overall style and feel is consistant with the series. so if you like that, go for it.

Start with NGE. Not only is it one of the most influential and famous anime of all time, it’s also pretty good (though be warned, they ran out of ink and money near the end and it shows. Thankfully though End of Evangelion fixed all that. Rebuild is really high quality and awesome, but it’s more fun to watch after seeing the original, because of little differences you’ll notice.

Wait, these subs say “Neon Genesis Evangelion Remastered”. Is that the same as Rebuild? Fucking confusing show. Fuck this.

“Remastered” sounds like it’s just a touched up re-release of NGE <.<;
