when i saw the movie, the entire audience applauded during this.

Just gonna put this here. Right here. I actually never heard the Hulk speak the first time I watched the movie because the audience was DYING.

To see this scene while dressed as Loki in a decently crowded theater… Puny God has become a joke within my friends and family.

NEVER AGAIN.

this needs to win an award for like most shocking and hilarious moment in comic book movie history

Also little tidbit, did you know that Lou Ferrigno did the Hulk’s voice?

There are so many things I missed the first time just because everyone was dying of laughter.  Hulk’s line, Loki’s whimpering at the end. xD

God I love Dustin Hoffman in it *____* There’s something so eerily attractive about a man in a film who gets pushed around and browbeaten and then out of nowhere just SNAPS. That whole finale is just excellent, and definitely one of the best moments in cinema history, when it comes to violence. 

It seems a lot of people have that one film they watch to gawk at how badass a scene is, like how everyone worships The Boondock Saints or The Matrix’s action sequences. I think right now, with this still fresh in mind, this would be that film for me. This is the one where I jump up onto the chair out of nowhere and go YEYHAGGGHGHGHHHHH FUCK YEAH YEAHGHGH and just get pumped up, even if the first 3/4ths of the movie are completely devoid of this passion. 

I’m blabbering and not typing with this with any particular point in mind so I’m sorry for that, but god I’m serious you guys, you should all watch Straw Dogs with me sometime. It’s just..fgnrjebjkne njkerbknj fucking goodddddd
